An exciting night ahead for Touch Gold as half-brothers Raven’s Corner and Speedy Move both run on Thursday’s Meydan card.

Raven’s Corner goes in the 7f Carnival handicap, coming here off a good third in a similar race. The form of that was boosted by the runner-up scoring impressively at the weekend, and the winner is favourite for another race later on in the card. Kimbear certainly looks the one to beat, but hopefully Raven’s stalls issues are behind him and he’s capable of running a big race. Richie Mullen is back on board, having missed his first 2 outings.

Speedy Move also runs over 7f, in the local handicap. He’s got back on track on turf recently, notably fourth in a good race here last time, but has plenty of good dirt form round here. He’s as honest as they come and looks to have a¬†good chance of hitting the frame. Pat Cosgrave, who rode him on his penultimate start, returns in the saddle.
