Majestic Thunder and Speedy Move capped off a strong season for the Touch Gold team with impressive wins on the dirt at Jebel and Meydan in March, before the season was cut short due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Majestic Thunder has shown a particular liking to the hill at Jebel, adding to his maiden win last month as he ran out a 2-length winner of a competitive handicap off a mark of 75, given another fine ride by Tadhg O’Shea to pick off the field from off the pace. He’s a very talented sort who is set to improve further with racing, into next season and beyond.
Speedy has been an absolute star and gained another thoroughly deserved win switched to the dirt, having contested a carnival race on the turf the time before. He also scored by 2 lengths, under Richie Mullen this time who couldn’t have ridden a better race on him. His zest for racing is as high as ever despite being an 8yo now and hopefully he can continue that into next season.
