Rodaini will represent Touch Gold Racing on Dubai World Cup night on Saturday after an impressive win in the Jebel Ali Classic last week.
Rodaini relished his first try up the hill at Jebel, taking the 250,000aed prize impressively by 3 1/4 lengths under Pat Cosgrave, beating out a large and competitive field. He was perfectly trained for the race by Zabeel who have done a terrific job with him, having had to overcome an issue or two with the horse earlier in the season.
His rating went up to 106 for that, allowing him a run into the Group 2 Godolphin Mile, the opening thoroughbred contest on the night. The race comes just 8 days later, though it’s the dream to run on the World Cup card, as well as for those in the syndicate to be involved with a runner on the big night, not to mention it being a hugely valuable pot.
