The 2019-20 UAE season gets underway at Meydan on Thursday and a familiar face is on the card for Touch Gold, as Speedy Move runs in the 6f handicap.

Speedy ended last season in great form and hopefully he carry on from where he left off after a much deserved summer break. Last year he finished second on his seasonal return over C&D, unlucky to bump into a subsequent Listed winner on that occasion and hopefully there isn’t anything of the like lurking in the 8-runner field he takes on on Thursday. Richie Mullen takes the ride.

Speedy is one of 6 horses Touch Gold currently have in training in Dubai, with Pop The Hood, Au Coeur, Warburton, Majestic Thunder and The Song Of John adding to the numbers. All of them are training well with Satish Seemar at Zabeel, while we also have a horse in the US who may ship over for the Carnival. It should prove to be another exciting season for the syndicate and hopefully Speedy can start it in style on opening night.
