Au Coeur, a 4-length winner at Jebel Ali on his latest start, leads the way. Currently rated 85, he was being aimed down the Jebel Ali Mile path but after a tough campaign for us we decided it best to back off and give him a break. Now fully recovered we are looking to sell to realise a profit for the group of owners.
Lightly-raced 7yo Pop The Hood was a 1-year project for internationally based owners. He’s shown exceptional ability at home, and despite being competitive at Carnival grade, he hasn’t quite replicated it on the track. He’s a potential big improver in his second year in the UAE, now currently rated 85. He has smart graded form in the US to his name.
Like Au Coeur, First Down is a winner for Touch Gold this season and has picked up plenty more cheques along the way. A versatile sort who has form on all the UAE tracks on dirt, it was always our intention to let him go at this sale and he’ll likely continue to do very well off a mark of 66.
Shanghai Schwartz is a winner of his last 2 starts in the US, A late arrival for the UAE season, he has been in training with Satish Seemar at Zabeel, but unfortunately just as his work really started impressing we had to back off him and consequently he did not make it to his intended race. Our partners have decided to sell him.
Birmano was a Godolphin Racing In Dubai Sale purchase, who shows a lot at home, but on the track has been disappointing. Given he’s a very good looking and exceptionally bred type, it’s with reluctance that we’ve decided we can no longer persevere with him. Rated in the 90’s when trained in France, he’ll be exceptionally well handicapped if the buyer can find the key to him.
